A source says, "The plan is for her character to be written out, probably by dying.
"Anne will take over as Peter Parker's new love interest for this project and for "Spider-Man 5" and "Spider-Man 6" which are being written now.
"Anne's in L.A. doing a lot of meetings on the movie, because filming is right around the corner."
Rumors, especially in regards to Spider-Man 4 are a dime a dozen, but this one has less credibility than most. First of all, they'd never let a a decision this huge spill out so far ahead of the film's release. Second, recent news points to the fact that Sam Raimi is in dispute with the studio over the scripting of Spidey 4, so the idea that 5 & 6 are already being prepped is ludicrous. I take this one not just with a grain of salt, but a whole damn salt shaker.
