Holy crap does he look spot on or what? I'm kind of iffy on this Smurfs movie. On one hand it seems like just another cartoon to movie crossover, but some part of me feels like it actually might be very good. Mixing live action with CGI, this will in no way beat the bar that Who Framed Roger Rabbit set way back in the late 80's for live action/animated mix movies, but it may be a worthwhile watch. Azaria is always good and the test CGI shot's that hit the web awhile ago for the Smurfs themselves actually look really good. Now I'm just wondering if Azriel, Gargamel's cat, will be CG or a real cat...there's a chance a real cat would look really funny but if they go CG they risk it looking like the Garfield movie. What do you think?
