*A press release for Mark Millar's UK entertainment magazine, CLint, suggests that Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, will begin production in 2011 with plans for release sometime in 2012. Remember what I said a few days ago about press releases? Don't trust 'em. Whether or not this date sticks depends a lot on director Matthew Vaughn, who could possibly be tied up with X-men: First Class now. Then again I wouldn't put it past Millar to direct the film himself.
*Pimple faced little girls everywhere are marking their calandars with little Taylor Lautner faces right now. Summit Entertainment has set a release date of November 18, 2011 for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. The Bill Condon directed feature has been rumored to be split into two films to be shot back-to-back for quite some time, but as of now there's been no confirmation of that. Considering that this is a full year and a half after Eclipse hit theaters, I think that prospect seems likely.
*Yippee Kai Yay mutha *beep*! We're a little bit closer to hearing that famous line get censored into oblivion one more time, as 20th Century Fox has hired Skip Woods to pen the next adventure of beleaguered cop John McClain. Woods is probably best known for being a guy named Skip. Oh, and he co-wrote X-men Origins: Wolverine, which I'll try not to hold against him. Bruce Willis is on record as being in support of the film, but wants it to go "worldwide". Looks like the Sex and the City girls won't be the only ones riding camels across the desert!
