Danny Boyle's "127 Hours" gets November release date

Whether or not Danny Boyle can repeat the success of 2008's Slumdog Millionaire isn't clear, but Fox Searchlight is giving him every opportunity to wow the voters. They've set a release date of November 5th, 2010 for 127 Hours. The film is the story of Aron Ralston, the mountain climber who became famous back in 2003 for having to amputate his own arm when a boulder fell and pinned his arm to the canyon wall while he was mountaineering.

James Franco(Pineapple Express) is starring as Ralston. Amber Tamblyn(Havoc 2) and Kata Mara(Transsiberian) are co-starring as two travelers he meets early in his adventure.
