Lionsgate has released the first full trailer for Buried, the one-man single set thriller starring Ryan Reynolds. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as a contractor in Iraq, kidnapped and buried alive with only 90 minutes of air left. All he's got is a cell phone and a lighter. The film premiered at Sundance to rave reviews, highlighting Reynolds' performance in particular. Movies like this, where basically one actor has the carry the entire emotional burden(like Sam Rockwell in Moon last year) are always a tough call. Some can do it, some can't. I've got faith that Reynolds can handle it.
Buried is due to hit theaters on a limited basis September 24th, 2010. It expands to more theaters a couple weeks later on October 8th.
