, earlier this year. Well our wait for Payne's next directorial effort is only a few months away with The Descendants, starring George Clooney as a wealthy land baron who tries to reconnect with his daughters after an accident leaves his cheating wife critically injured. Payne co-wrote the script with Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, based on a 2008 novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings. Beau Bridges, Matthew Lillard, Judy Greer, Robert Forster, Mary Birdsong and Nick Krause all star in the film due out on December 6th. In order to get us ready for the big day(I can't wait!!) Fox Searchlight has released a new poster which you can check out below, followed by the very brief clip from a couple weeks back.
