Stories about dystopian futures are a dime a dozen in the X-men universe. Just look at the umpteen number of stories biting off of the classic Days of Future Past. Wolverine has no shortage of these, as well, but the best by far happens to be the Old Man Logan storyline, written by chatterbox Mark Millar(Kick-Ass) and penciled by Steve McNiven. For those that don't know it, the story thrusts an older, peaceful Wolverine into a bleak future where all the heroes are dead(Captain America's demise is terrible) and the villains now rule the world in little territories. Wolverine, who saw the demise of the heroes and failed to prevent it, is now a broken man refusing to pop his claws in anger. It's a fantastic story, and one I highly recommened you check out.
Millar discovered a fan made trailer for Old Man Logan and posted it on his MillarWorld site. It's a beautiful piece of work that uses some footage of the Hugh Jackman Wolverine, some clips from current Marvel flicks, and featuring Clint Eastwood as Old Man Logan. Why wouldn't Fox be itching to give us this story? Maybe after The Wolverine is done? Pretty please?
