Sure Shots: Boba Fett; Zombieland 2; Cloud Atlas

* You can file this away under "wishful thinking". Joe Johnston(Captain America: The First Avenger) wants to make a Boba Fett movie. At least that's what he told Screenrant while talking to them about his upcoming superhero film, and whether or not he'd show it to his old boss George Lucas. Johnston said that he's been trying to get Lucas to approve it, but doesn't go into detail on how that's going. Probably pretty friggin' badly.  Although would anybody be surprised if it didn't happen one day? We've already had a bunch of terrible cartoons based on the once great(now tarnished beyond belief) Star Wars universe, so would this be any different?

* It's looking less and less likely that we're going to see a sequel to Zombieland. That film's success a couple of years ago instantly sprung rumors of a sequel, with writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick coming back to pen the script. With the script completed and the principle cast more than willing to return, star Jesse Eisenberg and director Ruben Fleischer have been throwing cold water on the whole idea.  Fleischer in particular, while doing press for his comedy 30 Minutes or Less, has been extremely vocal about the likelihood of a sequel, stating "I can promise you it’s something we all want to do. I think the reality of it happening is getting less and less real. It’s just harder and harder every day, because everybody’s gotten really busy and the reality is that we’ve never had a script that we’ve all just fallen in love with." [Comingsoon]

* Bae Doona(Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance) has joined the cast of The Wachowskis and Tom Twyker's adaptation of Cloud Atlas, David Mitchell's weird and complex novel involving six separate stories that span from the 19th century to a distant dystopian future. Doona will play a clone, giving an interview just before she is executed after rebelling against the society that created and exploited her. Sheesh, can't they just make a movie out of that? She'll join Tom Hanks, Hugo Weaving, Halle Berry, Ben Whishaw, Susan Sarandon, and Jim Broadbent. [Sports Chosun]
