I find myself getting more excited for The Muppets as it's November 23rd release rapidly approaches. While I was sorta lukewarm on the three spoof trailers, the theatrical one I thought hit all the right notes established by Jim Henson in movies like The Great Muppet Caper
and The Muppets Take Manhattan
. Huge, star-studded spectacles with wild musical numbers and just a touch of subversion. Disney has released a batch of new photos for the film, which gives us our first look at Wanda Sykes's character, a prison guard looking a little skeptical of a pleading Kermit. Check out those pics below...

) directed, with a story by Segel and Nicholas Stoller.
