* Back in June we were finally treated to the news exactly nobody had been anxiously awaiting, that a fifth Scary Movie was in the works and would be headed our way on April 20th 2012. Strangely enough, with a date not that far into the future, no talent or creative folks were attached. Not a good sign. Now BloodyDisgusting is reporting that Stephen Leff, John Aboud and Michael Colton(The Comebacks) have been tapped to write what's sure to be a hiarious script. Back when the news broke in June, the word was that a reboot was being planned. That may no longer be the case, as offers have reportedly been sent to Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, and Kevin Hart to reprise their roles. No Anna Faris?
* Universal has apparently read the tea leaves and decided to drop the hammer on Ouija, the McG directed adaptation of the silly board game/demonic ritual where two people basically spell out the answers they want to their own questions. These Hasbro movies aren't taking off with Universal the way it was originally intended. Yeah we're still going to get the unfortunate Battleship, but Clue died an agonizing death just a couple of weeks ago. McG and producer Michael Bay will likely shop this thing around, but don't expect any takers. [Vulture]
* Hey, that Walter Hill directed, Sylvester Stallone action film we've been struggling to find an official title for? Well no longer is it Headshot, or Head Shot, or Headshots, it's now officially Bullet to the Head. How is that any better? Really? Who tested that? Stallone will pair up with Sung Kang(Fast Five) as a New Orleans hitman and a cop respectively who must track down their partners' murderer. Jason Momoa(Conan the Barbarian) is the main bad guy, with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christian Slater, Holt McCallany and Sarah Shahi co-starring. The film also now has a firm release date, April 13th 2012. [Deadline]
