Woody Harrelson will work his magic in Now You See Me

As if I couldn't get more amped up for Louis Leterrier's high concept heist flick, Now You See Me, he goes and does something like add Woody Harrelson to the cast. Has he been reading my email? The film has been on my radar since day one, when it was revealed the story would center on a game of cat and mouse between the FBI and a team of illusionist bank robbers known as the Four Horsemen.

Written by Boaz Yakin(Fresh) and Edward Ricourt, the film has an amazing assemblage of talent. Jesse Eisenberg, Melanie Laurent, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, and Isla Fisher, with Harrelson starring as a former mentalist and hyptnotist to the Queen of England. He heads to Vegas and teams up with the Horsemen to earn a few bucks pulling jobs.

Harrelson has had an interesting 2011 so far. He had an odd but hilarious supporting turn in Friends With Benefits. He also just finished wrapping up shooting on Gary Ross' adaptation of The Hunger Games, and let's not forget he'll turn up in the HBO political drama, Game Change. Also on the horizon is Rampart, a cop drama from Oren Moverman(The Messenger) which Harrelson has been receiving some of the best reviews of his career. [Variety]
