1st photos from Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing


Yesterday, news broke of Much Ado About Nothing, a film written and directed by Joss Whedon completely in secret, away from the prying eyes of the internet. A remarkable feat, when you think about it. Especially considering the large cast full of Whedonverse alumni, and the way nothing seems to truly be secret anymore. The film is a reworking of Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy, and features Sean Maher as the evil Don John, Amy Acker as Beatrice, and Alexis Denisof as Benedick.


Entertainment Weekly sat down with Whedon to talk about the film's production, detailing how it came to be(another one of his famous Shakespeare readings) and future distribution plans.
