Five new District posters for The Hunger Games

If you don't know squat about The Hunger Games, then all these months I've been talking about "districts" and "tributes" probably sounds like white noise. To put it as simply as possible, the story takes place in the nation of Panem, with a ruling capital city dominating over it's 12 separate districts. Each district specializes in a certain industry, with some far more well off than others. Katniss Everdeen(Jennifer Lawrence) hails from the mining town of District 12, one of the poorest districts and thus never much of a contender to win the annual games.

Ever since shooting wrapped on Gary Ross' adaptation of The Hunger Games, we haven't heard much of anything. So in a nifty little bit of marketing(and to serve as a refresher of sorts), Lionsgate has released five new district posters, which you can check out below. Expect the other seven to be rolled out over the coming days...

The Hunger Games will hit theaters on March 23rd, so hopefully all those people still comparing it to Battle Royale(I used to be one) will wise up before then.
