Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar remains something of a mystery to me. While the film looks like a clear Oscar contender and an obvious acting showcase, the trailer we saw didn't really clue us in to whether the issue of Hoover's alledged homosexuality would be in play. Eastwood doesn't think so. But writer Dustin Lance Black(Milk) says the script absolutely does. So who's telling the truth? I dunno, but the thought of Leonardo Dicaprio prancing around looking like Mrs. Doubtfire gives me the heebie jeebies.
A pair of new posters for J. Edgar have been released, both essentially the same, featuring an angry Hoover no doubt defending his actions in a committee hearing or something. Nothing flashy, but here they are anyway....
Co-starring Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts, Damon Herriman, Judi Dench, and Josh Lucas. J. Edgar hits theaters on November 11th.
