The Batcave returns in 'The Dark Knight Rises'; 3 new photos revealed
Only a movie with as much anticipation and expectation as The Dark Knight Rises can get people so damn frothy over the most trivial of things. Like Christian Bale appearing on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. Who cares? He's not doing anything, and we've seen him in the suit before. Unless there are Bat-nipples involved it's not a big deal. Or that whole thing with Bane's voice being too garbled to understand. It'll work itself out in the end, so why worry about it? In fact, in the upcoming issue, Christopher Nolan promises that things will "come into focus" in regards to his speech patterns. So just chill out.
Along with a handful of new photos from the superhero threequel, the issue reveals that the eight year period between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises has given Bruce Wayne the time to develop an all new Batcave. If you'll recall, Liam Neeson's Ra's Al Ghul destroyed the last one in Batman Begins, and Wayne was forced to conduct business out of a high rise apartment in the previous film. New images of the Batcave should be revealed tomorrow.
The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th, but we may not see a new trailer until May, possibly attached to Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. So feast on these new images from the film instead...
