Wrath of the Titans comes out in just over a month on March 30th, and yet it doesn't seem like there's been quite the marketing blitz we got for the last film. Maybe Warner Brothers is stepping back expectations a little bit? Sam Worthington isn't nearly the star he was back in 2010, with the majority of films he's been in(like last month's Man On A Ledge) underperforming.
Maybe looking to make up for lost time, two new posters and a character banner have been released for the Clash of the Titans sequel, directed by Battle: Los Angeles' Jonathan Liebesman. Worthington returns as Perseus, who is trying to live a quiet life after the last film's events, but finds himself unable to escape destiny when he's approached by the dangerously weakened Zeus(Liam Neeson), and asked to help him in the fight against the Titans and their leader, Chronus. The situation only gets worse when Hades(Ralph Fiennes) and Ares(Edgar Ramirez) switch sides and join the Titans in their plan to unleash Hell on earth. Rosamund Pike, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston, and Bill Nighy co-star.
