Watch a pair of new trailers for '2 Days in New York', starring Julie Delpy and Chris Rock

How pissed off was I that two consecutive delayed flights to Sundance ruined my chance to see 2 Days in New York? The only thing that made it worse was that I arrived just in time to see it's stars, Julie Delpy and Chris Rock, speeding off from the event as guards the size of defensive lineman kept us away. Whomp whomp. Oh well. Guess I could fly off to France for the March premier....

Anyway, two new short teasers have been released for the film, her follow-up to 2 Days in Paris, which she directed, wrote, and starred in with Adam Goldberg. Despite his presence, it turned out to be a charming little flick. 'Paris' sees her with a much more likable presence in Chris Rock, and the results are immediately felt. The story follows Marion, now a single parent living in New York, and her relationship with a radio DJ named Mingus.

The two clips, which are only about thirty seconds long, show both sides of the relationship. One features a distraught and hysterical Marion as she unloads on Mingus about her terrible love life, with him waiting for the chance to swoop in to the rescue.  The other is my favorite, as Mingus deals with some translation hang-ups trying to communicate with Marion's French relatives.

2 Days in Paris doesn't have a firm US release date yet, but hopefully it won't be too long after it premieres in France on March 28th....
