Surprised? The Wolfpack will return for 'The Hangover part III'
Hot on the heels of Todd Phillips confirming that The Hangover Part III will indeed be the last alcohol and drug fueled chapter of his hit comedy franchise, Warner Brothers announced today what we already expected. Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms, collectively known as The Wolfpack, will be back for what will probably be one more celebration gone terribly, disturbingly awry.
Mike Tyson, so hilarious as himself in the first two movies, has previously confirmed he will return. Frankly, he's as much a part of what makes the films so funny as anybody, even when only making a cameo like in Part II. While the press release doesn't state it, Justin Bartha is expected to be back as the fourth member of the crew. Phillips is writing the script alongside Craig Mazin, and he promises there will be some unexpected twists for the big finale...
Phillips: “I’m so excited to embark on another ‘Hangover’ film with Bradley, Ed and Zach. We’re going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.”
As we learned yesterday, May 24th 2013 has been pegged for a release date, which as of right now has it going up against the sixth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise.
