If there's any doubt that Prometheus might be the biggest movie of the summer, this latest 3-minute international launch trailer may have put those to rest. Ridley Scott and his team have done a remarkable job of dancing between the lines of hype and secrecy, releasing a ton of material without giving away too many details. And while this trailer may venture a touch into spoiler territory, it certainly raises more questions than answers.
One thing we haven't seen much of is Charlize Theron as Meredith Vickers, but that is completely rectified here. What becomes clear is that Vickers is hiding quite the sinister agenda, no doubt at the request of her Weyland Corporation masters, led by Peter Weyland(Guy Pearce). She seems to know exactly the type of disaster the crew has stumbled into, and will do whatever is necessary to take advantage of the situation. There's a ton of new footage, mostly of the holy heck that breaks loose and threatens not only those on board, but all of humanity. This is going to be crazy!
