Entertainment Weekly has released 10 new photos from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. While they aren't anything special, they do give us a look at Hugo Weaving as Elrond, and Cate Blanchett's Galadriel. We also get a glimpse at Gollum, and how he'll appear in his first encounter with Bilbo(Martin Freeman).
It's pretty crazy that after all the blockbusters we've got this summer, that we there are still plenty more to come, with The Hobbit acting as the cherry on top. Is anyone excited for this, though? There's been a surprising lack of buzz and excitement, and I can only think that there's a "been there, done that" feel surrounding Peter Jackson's return to the Shire. Am I wrong? The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens on December 14th. Check out the new photos below....
