New photos of Jamie Foxx in 'Django Unchained'; Kristen Wiig in 'Imogene'

A pair of new photos for two movies that couldn't be more different. One, a wild, racially charged revisionist Western about a freed slave tracking his kidnapped wife. The other about the dysfuctional relationship between a mother and daughter. Let's get right to it....

The first is this snowy new photo of Jamie Foxx in Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino's pre-Civil War action flick that has the Oscar winning actor as the title character, who teams up with a German bounty hunter named King Schultz to take down the infamous Brittle Bros., then turning their attention towards the freeing of Django's wife from the clutches of Calvin Candie. With all of the names who have dropped out of the film, Django Unchained seems to have lost a little of its luster, but it still boasts Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Jonah Hill, Don Johnson, RZA, and more as part of the cast. Look for it to hit theaters this Christmas.

Kristen Wiig's first starring role following her Bridesmaids success is the indie comedy, Imogene, a project she's been championing for a long time. Written by her pal Michelle Morgan and directed by Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman(American Splendor), the film stars Wiig as a down 'n out woman who tries to win back her ex-boyfriend by faking her own death. The whole thing backfires and she ends up remanded into the custody of her dysfunctional family. The image features Wiig along with Annette Bening, who plays her mother. Imogene premieres next week in Toronto but no theatrical release date.
