We've got a bunch of new photos that landed today, including a couple of first look snaps from Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, and the teen comedy 21 and Over starring Miles Teller. Plus we get a new shot of Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Last Stand.
First up is Lincoln, which some of the folks here in the DC-Metro area have already seen(sadly I missed it) and the reviews have been generally positive, although not overwhelmingly so. While Daniel Day-Lewis has been widely praised already for his turn as ol' Honest Abe, the rest of the cast looks equally impressive. The latest photos give us our first good looks at James Spader, Lee Pace, Hal Holbrook, and Jackie Earle Haley. Lincoln opens on November 9th, then goes wide the following week.
Next up is the comedy 21 and Over, which stars fast-rising star Miles Teller(Footloose, Rabbit Hole), Justin Chon(Twilight) and Skylar Astin(Pitch Perfect). Marking the directorial debut from The Hangover scribes Scott Moore and Jon Lucas, the plot reads like an early Wolfpack adventure. A straight A student tired of always doing what's right embarks on a wild night of debauchery with his two buddies, even though he has a critical medical school interview the next morning. Sounds kinda generic, but I said the same thing about Project X, which also featured Teller in a hilarious supporting role, and it turned out to be one hell of a hilarious ride. 21 and Over opens on March 1st 2013.
And if you've been really anxious to see a shot of Rodrigo Santoro in The Last Stand, well your wish has just been granted. Actually, if you were anxious for that then we really need to have a chat. The new shot features Santoro alongside a beat up and dusty Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film by director Kim Ji-Woon has the ex-Governor as a small town sheriff who mobilizes his young force to stop a crimelord and his gang before they reach the US-Mexico border. The Last Stand opens next year on January 18th.
