New trailer for Sylvester Stallone's 'Bullet to the Head'

In case you didn't get enough of Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stallone's brittle old bones in The Expendables 2, all three action legends have films coming in the first two months of 2013. Typically reserved for the cinematic dregs, January and February have become a lucrative haven for older-skewing genre films like Liam Neeson's The Grey.  Schwarzenegger has The Last Stand opening on January 18th; Willis has A Good Day to Die Hard on Valentine's Day, and Stallone is back with Bullet to the Head just two weeks earlier.

A second domestic trailer for the Walter Hill-directed revenge thriller has been released, and it's not that much different than the recent international one, with the exception of a different soundtrack. Stallone is an aging New Orleans hit man who teams up with a straight-laced D.C. cop played by Sung Kang(Fast Five) to get revenge on the ones responsible for their partners' murders. Jason Momoa(Conan the Barbarian) is the ax-wielding nemesis Stallone comes to blows against, while Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje(Lost) appear to be the mastermind.

The quips are still pretty stale, and the banter between Stallone and Kang is stiff and generally laugh-free. But Hill is a fantastic director of throwback action movies, and that's clearly what Bullet to the Head is trafficking in here. Co-starring Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi, and Holt McCallany, the film opens on February 1st.....
