New trailer, poster, and photo from 'A Good Day to Die Hard'
There was probably no better example of the PG-13 lameness of 2007's Live Free or Die Hard than that moment we were all waiting for, when John McClane spouts his signature catchphrase: "Yippe kai-yay mutha"....and then nothin'. Well, you won't be hearing it in next year's A Good Day to Die Hard, either, and to emphasize the point they've tweaked McClane's famous bravado in the latest poster.
The new poster drops the "F" bomb and replaces it with "Russia". Otherwise this is a pretty dull one-sheet with only Bruce Willis' mug to stare at. More interesting is a newly released international trailer, which re-introduces us to Mary Elizabeth Winstead as John's daughter, Lucy McClane. A bit more of the plot is on display here than in the previous trailer, showing McClane and his son Jack(Jai Courtney) involved in some sort of terrorist trouble on Russian soil. Winstead's role looks like it might be just a cameo, while the rest of the action looks like exactly what you'd want out of Die Hard.
Directed by John Moore, A Good Day to Die Hard should make for the perfect Valentine's Day gift on February 14th....[EW]
