Watch Sly Stallone mumble his way through the new 'Bullet to the Head' trailer

Sylvester Stallone is 66 years old at this point, and while it may be perfectly fine for him to team up with other aging muscleheads in The Expendables, that doesn't mean he has the goods to lead a solo action flick. Stallone's running buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to have recaptured some of the old magic with The Last Stand, but he also had the benefit of years away from the wear and tear. The recent trailer for Stallone's Bullet to the Head, on the other hand, was terrible to the point of self-parody.

Now comes the international which is markedly improved, featuring less jokes and a higher emphasis on violence. The movie's titled bullet to the Head, you'd think they'd know what people are looking for. Stallone teams up with Fast and Furious's Sung Kang as a New Orleans hitman and D.C. cop who team up to find the men who killed their partners. Short of hearing Stallone mumble through a few horribly bad one-liners, it's hard not to get excited over the ax battle with Jason Momoa(Conan the Barbarian). The rest of the cast includes Christian Slater, Sarah Shahi, Holt McCallany, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. Overall this looks like the kind of film you'd expect from Stallone and veteran director Walter Hill.

Bullet to the Head opens on February 1st 2013....[MSN]
