Carrie Fisher would come back for 'Star Wars: Episode VII'

Y'know, the funniest thing to me about Star Wars: Episode VII has been how the media have suddenly been trying to get their hands on of EVERYONE ever involved with Star Wars to get their opinion. Granted, we did the same thing by talking to Nick Maley about it a few days ago, but Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill are suddenly everywhere.

So with Ford not totally dissing the idea of coming back as Han Solo, the latest comes from Fisher, who when asked by TMZ about donning the cinnamon bun hairdo as Leia again said "Yes, sure. Wouldn't you?" Certainly a more enthusiastic response than Ford apparently had, and combined with the earlier reports she and Hamill had met with Lucas last summer about the film it makes it sound as if she's definitely ready to go.

Then again, she may not even be asked. We don't know what Disney plans on doing at this point. Lucas' earlier story treatment may not be used at all in favor of a different direction. Don't expect to learn much until a director is decided upon. Right now Matthew Vaughn(Kick-Ass) and Colin Trevorrow(Safety Not Guaranteed) are two of the names rumored on the shortlist.
