'Easy A' director Will Gluck to helm heist comedy 'For Richer or Poorer'

Will Gluck's offbeat sense of humor has taken him pretty far, and along the way he's helped build a few superstars. Ok, so we can ignore the terrible male cheerleader comedy, Fired Up!, which didn't really help anybody. But he helped turn Emma Stone into a superstar with Easy A, and Friends with Benefits was an overload of cute thanks to Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.

So Gluck seems to know what his bread and butter is, and he's set to unite another pair of youngsters for the crime comedy, For Richer or Poorer. The film follows a thief and her ex-boyfriend who stage a fake wedding at the National History Museum in New York City so they can rob the place. Based on an original idea by John Aboud and Michael Coulton, the latest rewrite was done by Reid Carolin(Magic Mike), which is what drew Gluck to the project. Would anyone be surprised if Gluck reaches out to Stone, Timberlake, or Kunis for this one?

Gluck has a lot on his plate, so who knows when this will roll. He's currently producing Screen Gems' About Last Night remake, and recently signed up to direct a remake of the Swiss film, Vitus; and a D.B. Cooper biopic.
