If some of the excitement surrounding The Hunger Games had died down a little bit, it shot back up with a vengeance this morning with the reveal of the first couple of photos from Catching Fire. Even if some, like yours truly, think Sam Claflin still isn't the right guy to play Finnick Odair, at least we have a taste for how the film is going to look under the guidance of new director Francis Lawrence. Well, if those shots got you energized, then you're going to love these.
EW has dropped a couple more stills, which show Katniss(Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta(Josh Hutcherson) on their Victor's Tour after escaping the 74th Hunger Games. The other shows her best friend and possible love Gale Hawthorne(Liam Hemsworth) hauled off by the Peacekeepers. He won't have long to stew about it, as Katniss and Peeta will soon find themselves thrust into the 75th Hunger Games as rebellion boils throughout Panem.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens on November 22nd 2013.
