Loopy new trailer for Quentin Dupieux's 'Wrong'

It's obvious now that Quentin Dupieux has no interest in making a movie anywhere close to mainstream. At least not yet. The director rose to some acclaim with with his oddball killer tire movie, Rubber, and for his follow-up he's ramping the weirdness up a few thousand notches.

Wrong stars Jack Plotnick as a man who loses his beloved dog and runs across a strange assortment of characters while trying to find him. Along the way he embarks on a spiritual journey, guided by a William Fichtner as a mysterious, pony-tailed guru named Mr. Chang. The new trailer is just crazy enough to work, with Fichtner standing out as the loopiest aspect of all. I just hope the film is more focused than the vastly disappointing Rubber.

Wrong hits VOD on February 1st....
