Terminally ill fan who saw 'Star Trek Into Darkness' passes away
In a sad bit of news this weekend, Daniel Craft, the Star Trek fan who was given a chance to see Star Trek Into Darkness early as his final wish, passed away on Friday night from cancer. Craft had been involved with Subway Cinema and organizing the New York Asian Film Festival. His desire to see J.J. Abrams' film caught the director's attention, leading to his being given the opportunity to catch an early viewing. His reaction to the film and the experience can be read here.
