Watch Christoph Waltz in SNL's Quentin Tarantino parody 'Djesus Uncrossed'
I don't watch Saturday Night Live regularly anymore, only flipping it on when they have an inspired guest host. Last night's show was one of those times, with Christoph Waltz stopping by and, while the bulk of the show left much to be desired, one sketch in particular had me rolling off the bed in laughter.
In a brilliant parody of Quentin Tarantino's hyper-violent historical revisions like Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, Waltz plays a resurrected Jesus out for blood in Djesus Uncrossed. Oh...I can see the stick-up-the-butt God warriors banging out nasty letters in All Caps to NBC right now. Impressively detailed in Tarantino's Kill Bill style, it also features Taran Killam's hilarious impersonation of Brad Pitt's Aldo Raine.
Although we may have an idea what Tarantino's doing for the final part of his trilogy, might I suggest he actually consider a revenge-crazed Jesus instead? Please?
