We've seen a number of photos from Riddick courtesy of Vin Diesel's Facebook page, but this is the one that interests me most. The latest image pits Diesel against the massive ex-WWE superstar, Dave Bautista, and it looks like Vin has the upper hand. Diesel can't seem to get away from beating up pro wrestlers, duking it out with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Fast Five. Maybe Stone Cold Steve Austin can turn up in Fast & Furious 7 or something?
The film finds the infamous Riddick stranded on a seemingly desolate planet, only to discover its inhabited by vicious alien predators. His only hope of escape is activating an emergency beacon which alerts mercenaries to his whereabouts, hoping to cash in on the bounty. Bautista plays one of a new breed of merc, more dangerous than any Riddick has ever faced.
Also starring Katee Sackhoff, Karl Urban, Jordi Bolla, and Bokeem Woodbine, Riddick hits theaters on September 6th.
