New Trailer and Poster for Lynn Shelton's 'Touchy Feely' Starring Ellen Page and Rosemarie DeWitt

At last year's Sundance, Lynn Shelton debuted her tremendous sibling dramedy Your Sister's Sister, which included a terrific performance by Rosemarie DeWitt. Like most of Shelton's films, its biggest splash was felt on the art house circuit, and that's likely to be where most will find her next pairing with DeWitt, Touchy Feely.

Also premiering at Park City, the film received some pretty mixed reviews, but the new trailer suggests another strong effort by Shelton and some great character work by DeWitt and co-stars Ellen Page, Allison Janney, Josh Pais, and Scoot McNairy. DeWitt plays a gifted massage therapist who develops an aversion to human contact, while Pais is her brother whose dental practice gets a boost when he gains the ability to heal. If Your Sister's Sister and Humpday proved anything it's that Shelton has a knack for taking fairly silly ideas and grounding them by focusing on interpersonal relationships, and it looks like she'll do that again here.

Touchy Feely opens on September 6th.
