Spike Lee Reveals Teaser Poster and Lead Actress for his Kickstarter-Funded Film

With two weeks remaining in Spike Lee's "thirty day grind" to find $1.25M for his Kickstarter-funded mystery film, he's now about halfway to his ultimate goal. Despite Lee's name fronting the picture, and his reputation as an indie maverick, he's far from drawing the same attention as the campaigns for Zach Braff and Veronica Mars.

Perhaps to help get some buzz going, Lee has made two major announcements in a single day. The first is the reveal of Zaraah Abrahams as the female lead. The English actress appeared in the buzz-worthy NYU short film Black Girl in Paris, and as a regular in the Brit series Waterloo Road. Lee also hit Twitter to debut the first teaser poster, which is strange for a film that has no title and no real synopsis to speak of. It's still a very striking image that hints at the little we know about the story, which centers on humans who are addicted to blood.
