Seth Rogen Takes On Zac Efron in the First Red Band Trailer for 'Neighbors'

It's the bad boy vs. the good guy, Seth Rogen vs. Zac Efron, and they probably aren't in the roles one would expect. The classic stoner from Knocked Up and Pineapple Express isn't the one causing a ruckus in the new comedy Neighbors (formerly Townies), rather it's Rogen as the family man squaring off against Efron's douchebag frat boy.

The first red band trailer for Neighbors has been released, and it looks like the funniest and raunchiest thing Efron has ever attempted. Directed by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), the film has Rogen and Rose Byrne as a square couple who move in next door to a raucous frat house, only to become the victims of increasingly juvenile pranks. There are a number of great moments here, from Christopher Mintz-Plasse knockin' boots in Rogen's front yard, to Efron and Dave Franco imitating Robert De Niro.  Rogen has always had an uncool way about him, even when at his slacker best, and he's tapping into that pretty convincingly here.

Neighbors hits theaters on May 9th 2014.
