From Wet Hot American Summer to Zack & Miri to Pitch Perfect, Elizabeth Banks has proven she's one of today's funniest women, which is why it's so odd that she hasn't really had a chance to lead her own comedy. That's just one reason why Walk of Shame sounded so promising, but the other reason was the silly premise behind it, that has her going on one crazy adventure after an epic one night stand.
The first trailer for the film has been released, and frankly Banks is the best thing about it. Directed by Steve Brill (Mr. Deeds), it has Banks as a wannabe reporter stuck in Los Angeles without a phone, car, or money after a hook up with James Marsden. The only problem is she needs to get across town in time to make a job interview that could change her life.
Walk of Shame should have opened last year but we'll get it on April 25th.
