First Look at Seth MacFarlane's 'A Million Ways to Die in the West'

One film that has been lost in the hype of anticipated 2014 flicks is Seth MacFarlane's directorial follow-up to Ted, the comedy-western A Million Ways to Die in the West. MacFarlane also co-writes and stars as a wimpy sheep farmer who backs out of a gun fight, losing the respect of his girlfriend who quickly leaves him. Charlize Theron plays the wife of a notorious outlaw who teaches him how to be a man and fight, giving him one last shot to regain his pride.

The first official image has been released and it looks like another showdown with MacFarlane and co-stars Theron, Amanda Seyfried, and Neil Patrick Harris.  There was a test screening held for it a few weeks ago and, much like Ted before it, the response has been mixed with some finding it hilarious and some protesting the vulgar and racially-charged jokes MacFarlane traffics in. Personally, I can't wait and it's one of the movies I'm looking forward to most this year.

Co-starring Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi, A Million Ways to Die in the West opens May 30th.
