To the best of anyone's knowledge, there are no plans to have Aquaman in Man of Steel 2, Batman vs. Superman, or whatever Warner Bros. decides to title the film. That apparently hasn't stopped rumors the king of Atlantis will surface in some way, and if he does, CBM says he could be played by Josh Holloway.
In what should be filed away under the "unlikely rumor" category, the site says Holloway is being "strongly" considered for a role in the superhero sequel, speculating that it could be as Aquaman. Most fans know Holloway for his role as Sawyer on ABC's Lost, but now he's currently starring in the new series Intelligence. He's also appeared in Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, but his most challenging role to date was playing a former B-boy in Battle of the Year. "Challenging" in that it was totally unbelievable.
So keep this in mind just in case it pans out. Would anybody have predicted we'd have Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman just a few months ago? Probably not. Since Holloway isn't likely to be Aquaman, what character do you think he'd be a better fit for?
