Oh Logan, you can always count on Veronica, you know that. And Veronica Mars could always count on its fans, who backed show creator Rob Thomas' Kickstarter campaign to record-breaking levels in order to see their favorite TV detective on the big screen. And now with the film only a couple of months away from hitting theaters, a new trailer has been released.
We got a glimpse of the first trailer back at Comic-Con but this one opens up the story a lot more. Kristen Bell is back as Veronica, who is now a big shot New York City lawyer and...sorry marshmallows....she's still hooked up with Piz (Chris Lowell). But when she catches wind that her former flame Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) is suspected of killing his girlfriend, she drops everything and returns to Neptune, just in time for the big 10-year high school reunion. So many dramatic events converging at once! The gang is all here including the aptly-named Dick (Ryan Hansen), who is still a clown; Tina Majorino as Mac; Percy Daggs III as her best friend Wallace; and Francis Capra as Weevil. But this wouldn't be Veronica Mars without Enrico Colantoni as her loyal pops, Keith Mars.
