I don't watch a lot of TV, but two shows that are definitely on my radar are the return of Jack Bauer in 24: Live Another Day, and Fox's Gotham series. Both shows have made two crucial casting additions, and both happen to be two of my favorite actors.
First up, Donal Logue has been confirmed to play Det. Harvey Bullock on Gotham. This comes after rumors had surfaced that Logue was up for the part of the rough around the edges cop who serves as a partner and mentor to young Jim Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie. Logue joins Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin. Bruno Heller is penning the script and will serve as showrunner for the confirmed series, with Danny Cannon directing the pilot. Logue has starred in numerous TV programs including Grounded for Life, Terriers, and Vikings. Perfect casting, if you ask me.
