Deadline reports that Hart, Cube, Story, plus screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are returning for Ride Along 2. Even though the first film has hit the $120M mark by focusing heavily on the humor, the sequel will "have more action" and be more of a multi-cultural experience to maximize the audience.
Universal isn't wasting any time, either, with plans for production to begin in June or July, meaning we should see it some time in 2015 which is also when we'll see him team with Will Ferrell in Get Hard. With Think Like a Man Too coming later this year, plus two more potential hits in the next, there seems to be no stopping Hart's momentum.
