We've seen Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin make the awkward transition from child star to teen actress, and it's clear she's still feeling her way through it. Now she's set to star with another who is making a similar move, The Chronicles of Narnia's Georgie Henley. Breslin and Henley are starring in the true crime drama, Perfect Sisters, and the first trailer for it has arrived.
Perfect Sisters is based on the true story of the media-dubbed 'Bathtub Girls", Canadian siblings who in 1998 conspired with their high school friends to murder their alcoholic mother. They loaded her up with prescription pills then dunked her head underwater in the bathtub until she drowned. Mira Sorvino plays the mother with Breslin as the older sister, Sandra, and Henley as the impressionable Beth.
Despite the cast this can't escape looking like something that should be on Lifetime, which may be why it's getting a small rollout April 11th in New York and Los Angeles.
