It's no more Mr. Nice Guy for Jason Bateman, but in truth it hasn't been that way in quite awhile. The
Arrested Development star has found his niche in R-rated comedies of late, scoring major hits with
Horrible Bosses and
Identity Thief, and it's a genre he wants to stick with as he enters the next phase of his career. Bateman's made the move to directing with his debut feature, the wildly-inappropriate comedy
Bad Words, about a middle-aged school drop out who forces his way into 8th-grade spelling bee competitions.
I had a chance to sit down and talk with Bateman about the challenges of directing
