New Footage in the Japanese 'Maleficent' Trailer

At least on the domestic front Disney seems to have calmed down shoving Maleficent in our faces, for the time being, anyway. But there are other international markets out there still to be conquered, and so we have a brand new Japanese trailer with some never-before-seen footage of Angelina Jolie as the titular Sleeping Beauty villain. Directed by Robert Stromberg and starring Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Sharlto Copley, and more, the film tells the classic fairy tale from Maleficent's evil perspective.

Maleficent opens May 30th.
