Nick Fury and Alexander Pierce Strike a Deal in New 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Clip

As anyone who has been watching Marvel's Agents of SHIELD know (and judging by the ratings it isn't many of you), Nick Fury has been full of secrets of lately. Not just the sort of murky black ops secrets one would expect from SHIELD's top spy, but the kind that affect those he's supposed to be friends with. And it looks like Fury's penchant for deception is going to play a major part in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

A new clip from the film has been released and while it's not a fast-paced action sequence like yesterday's footage, it's much cooler because Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford are sharing screen time. Redford plays Alexander Pierce, a high-ranking SHIELD official who has the power to delay something called Project Insight at Fury's request, but only if he can score a personal favor from Iron Man.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4th.
