Peter Dinklage Joins 'Pixels'; Tom Wilkinson Heads to 'Selma'; 'Paul Blart 2' Adds Neil McDonough

* Peter Dinklage's movie career may have started off small (no pun intended), but the Game of Thrones star is being sought for bigger things. He'll play the villain Bolivar Trask in this summer's X-men: Days of Future Past, and now he's joining Adam Sandler, Kevin Hart, and Josh Gad in Pixels. Directed by Chris Columbus and based on the cool short film, the film takes place in a New York City under attack from 1980s video game characters. [TheWrap]

* Ava Duvernay is beginning to cast up her Martin Luther King biopic, Selma, and she's looking to add Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon B. Johnson. The Oscar-winner is in talks to join David Oyelowo in the film centered on MLK's landmark 1965 voting rights campaign, one of the high points in the civil rights movement. Johnson had been there in Selma, Alabama to give a speech on voting rights just a week after racially-charged violence had erupted. [TheWrap]

* Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is still happening, and Kevin James now has a villain for his bumbling security officer to contend with. Neil McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger) will play the mastermind of a heist taking place at a security guard expo in Las Vegas, which Blart happens to be attending. Andy Fickman is directing with Molly Shannon and Nick Turturro co-starring.
