*UPDATE* Three New Clips from 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

The marketing onslaught Sony has unleashed for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has bordered on obscene, with new trailers dropping every few days, plus images, featurettes, and so forth. It's beginning to look a little desperate as they try to keep pace with Marvel's build towards Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. And now Sony continues to shout for your attention with two clips for Spidey's upcoming adventure.

The first clip is from the Times Square sequence we've already seen so much of, featuring a showdown between Jamie Foxx's Electro and Andrew Garfield's Spidey that ends in disaster due to the NYPD's interference. The next scene has Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy romantically hiding out in an OsCorp maintenance closet. Better enjoy those moments while you can, Pete.

*UPDATE* A third clip has been added of Peter Parker and Dane DeHaan as his old pal Harry Osborn, hanging out, skipping rocks, and sharing horror stories about their fathers.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens May 2nd.
