Liam Hemsworth, Isla Fisher, and Elizabeth Debicki Join Kate Winslet in 'The Dressmaker'

The slow progress on Jocelyn Moorhouse's adaptation of The Dressmaker seems to be over. Kate Winslet came aboard more than a year ago, followed soon after by screen vet Judy Davis, and now the stars of three of 2013's biggest films, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Now You See Me, and The Great Gatsby have joined the cast.

Screen Daily reports that Liam Hemsworth, Isla Fisher, and Elizabeth Debicki are now part of the romance drama that also works as something of a revenge fantasy. Winslet plays a scorned woman who returns to the small country hometown she fled after as a child after being accused of murder. Now returned and an advocate for 1950’s haute couture inspired by Madame Vionnet and Balenciaga, she liberates and empowers the town women while finding unexpected romance and exacting revenge on those who wronged her.  There's a reason the film was sold last year as "Unforgiven with a sewing machine".

Filming is set to begin in Australia this October.
