New Poster, Images, and Footage from 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'

By the time Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction hits next month, we will already have seen what other supposed blockbusters have to offer. Bay's fourth cinematic effort following the Autobot/Deception war is expected to be one of the summer's biggest and possibly blow everything else out of the water, and if we know the director at all he'll be pulling out all of the stops and detonating everything to make sure that happens.

With a new trailer coming up in just a couple of days, a heroic new poster and a handful of character images have been released. Also, if you caught NBC's The Voice (and why would you??) then you may have caught a new TV spot. We'll update this post with an official version when one becomes available. As for the images, the poster is a little awkward with Optimus Prime riding Grimlock like he's a bucking bronco. With Grimlock not having anybody officially signed on to voice him it makes me wonder if the Dinobots will be able to speak, or if they'll just be glorified pets. The other images look like they may be used for future promos, possibly as part of character bio sheets.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opens June 27th.

*UPDATE* A new brief trailer has been released announcing that Imagine Dragons will be doing an original song for Transformers: Age of Extinction. Why is this such a big deal? Who knows?*
