First Trailer for 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb' Starring Ben Stiller
Five years have gone by since the Ben Stiller and Shawn Levy last brought exhibits to life in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, and while it didn't get great reviews(nor did its predecessor), $400M at the box office is a good way to cure any hurt feelings. This holiday season the trilogy comes to a close with the London-set Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and now we have the first trailer plus new images courtesy of USA Today.
Stiller is back as Larry Daley, the beleaguered night watchmen at New York's Museum of Natural History, and the one guy who knows that each night the exhibits there come to life. But now the Egyptian tablet that grants them life is starting to corrode, and to fix it Larry and his teenaged son Nick (Skyler Gisondo) gather up their historical friends and head to London's British Museum to fix the problem. Along for the ride are familiar faces Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher), Octavius (Steve Coogan), Jedediah (Owen Wilson), Ahkmenrah (Rami Malek), and Sacajawea (Mizuo Peck), joined by Dan Steven as Sir Lancelot and Rebel Wilson as a London security guard. Ben Kinglsey also joins as Ahkmenrah's father, the man who created the magical Egyptian tablet.
Shawn Levy returns to direct Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, opening December 19th.
